Meeting called to order at 7;45 P.M. Minutes of February 10, 1953, meeting
were then heard and approved as read.

Linen In checking with the American Linen Supply Company, Lodahl reported
service that the Villa ge is being billed for the lowest possible minimum
linen service charge, or X6.55 monthly.
Liability In connection with automobile policy covering the 1949 Ward La France
limits, fY ro truck, Lindig moved that limits of liability be ~I0,000.00 or
1949 fire two-thirds of the truck's recently appraised value. Seconded by
trunk Lodahl and motion carried unanimously.
Road Attorney Graham reported on status of the bill now before the
bill. legislatu re, authorizing the County to perform road work for
Villages.

Load limit Following discussion, Lindig moved adoption of Ordinance No. 21,
Ordinance AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE USE OF STREETS AND HIGHWAYS BY
No. 21 PROVIDING FOR LOAD LINTS AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATION
THEREOF. Seconded by Lodahl and the following vote taken and
recorded:
Ayes: Henry, Shavor, Lindig, Lodahl, Stewart
Nays: None
The Mayor then declared Ordinance No. 21 duly adopted by a un-
. animou s vote and directed publication of same.
Apportionment- Treasurer Yan Hoven reported receipt of liquor tax apportionment
liquor-cigarette for the period July thru December 1952, amounting to $2,097.36;
taxes also receipt of the ci garotte tax apportfonmerit for the same
period in the amount of $2,019.68. The liquor tax apportionment
is made on the basis oP 54~ per capita and the cigarette tax at
52d per capita, h® said.
Publish The Clerk submitted Dopy of the Village financial statement for
Financial. the year ended December 31, 1952. Shavor moved that said statement
statement be published in The Rose Tribune. Seconded by Lindig etnd motion
carried. unanimously.
Proposal by The clerk reported on proposal of Mr. C. J. Lessard, President,
businessmen Falcon Heights Business Men's Association, urging that the Council,
the business men's group and the community club get batter
