Village Lindig brought up the question of having a Village constable
Coritable at the A1Sxander Ramsey High School when teen-age dances are
at School held so as to assist the teen-alters in crossing Highway 36
safely at leaving time. Lindig was directed to refer the
question to Public Safety Committee Chairman Arndt for his
recommendation in the matter.
Proposed Proposed revision of the Fire Department ordinance was
revision discussed, It was agreed that any further action in this

at the annual Village Election, December 8, 1953:

For the Office of Village Trustee -

Shavor then moved, seconded by Stewart, that the following
be declared elected to office;
Robert E. Stenzinger was elected Mayor for a term of two years.
David. P. Cartwright was elected Village Trustee for a term of three years.
William S. Olsen was elected Village Treasurer for a term of two years.
Donald E. Nelson was elected to the office of Justice of the
Peace for a term of two years.
Henry J. Dachtera was elected Village Constable for a term of two years.
Motion carried unanimously and said candidates declared duly
elected to office.
Adjournment: On motion, the meeting adjourned at 8:30 P,M.
