[1 Village Lindig brought up the question of having a Village constable Coritable at the A1Sxander Ramsey High School when teen-age dances are at School held so as to assist the teen-alters in crossing Highway 36 safely at leaving time. Lindig was directed to refer the question to Public Safety Committee Chairman Arndt for his recommendation in the matter. M, Following statement was presented by the Clerk as to the result of~'~he canvass of votes for election of officers for the Village of Falcon Heights at the annual Village Election, December 8, 1953: For the Office of Mayor - H.L. Henry 230 votes Robert E. Stenzinger 275 votes For the Office of Village Trustee - f~ David P. Cartwright 281 votes Arthur A. Lindig 19~t votes Frederick N. ?~artin 31 votes For the Office of Village Treasurer - Harry P. 3runcke 95 votes '+~illiam E, Qlsen 239 votes John R. Rysgaard 171 votes ~~~ Canvassing For the Office of Justice of the. Peace - Doard Donald E. 1~'elson x.56 votes Meeting ~1.D. Shockley 1 vote (cont'd). Lloyd Riley 1 vote For the Office of Village Constable - Henry J. Dachtera Stanley Seabom Clarence Rekstad t~51 votes 1 vote 1 vote Shavor then moved, seconded by Stewart, that the following be declared elected to office; Robert E. Stenzinger was elected Mayor for a term of two years. David. P. Cartwright was elected Village Trustee for a term of three years. William S. Olsen was elected Village Treasurer for a term of two years. Donald E. Nelson was elected to the office of Justice of the Peace for a term of two years. Henry J. Dachtera was elected Village Constable for a term of two years. Motion carried unanimously and said candidates declared duly elected to office.
