CANVASSING BOARD MEETING, THURSDAY, DECEMBER 5, 195?
The Canvassing Board meeting xas called to order at 11:50 P.M. Present:
William R. Utecht, Mayor; George J. Shavor, Trustee; Harold C. Nilsen, Trustee;
Willis Warkentien, Trustee; Clyde J. SteRart, Clerk. Also present: William E.
Olsen, Treasurer. Absent: Frank N. Graham, Attorney.
In connection xith the canvass of votes for the election of officers for the
Village of Falcon Heights, at the annual Village election, December 3, 195?, the
Clerk read the folloxing election returns:
For the Office of Mayor -
Harold C. Nilsen 242 votes
Karl Deppe 1 vote
Ethel White 1 vote
For the Office of_ Village Trustee -
George J. Shavor 232 votes
Ralph Strothers 1 vote
Hazel Sorenson 1 vote
For the Office of Village Treasurer -
William E. Olsen 239 votes
For the Office of Justice of the Peace -
Mark J. Hindermann 132 votes
.Donald E. Nelson 1].tt votes
On motion by Utecht, seconded by Warkentien, it xas voted unanimously to
declare the folloxing-duly elected to office, and that the Clerk be instructed to
certify said election returns to the County Auditor:
Harold C. Nilsen xas elected Mayor for a term of txo years. •
George J. Shavor xas elected Village Trustee for a term of three years.
William E. Olsen xas elected Village Treasurer for a t®rm of ta-o years.
Mark. J. Hindermann xas elected .Justice of the Peace for a term of txo years.
Adjournment: On motion, the meeting ad3ourned at 12:15 midnite.
