and Public Works Director Hoag, City Engineer Bloom, and Deputy Clerk Kreuser. Residents Bryan Olson and Michelle Smith, 1592 Roselawn, were also present. 1. Hamline/Hoyt Project Update
Administrator Worthington began the item by giving an overview of the project to date. She stated the work on the feasibility report is on track and will be presented to council at a
future meeting. Engineer Bloom was asked to prepare traffic counts of Hamline and Hoyt, and she will have those numbers at an upcoming council meeting. 2. Arona MSA Update Administrator
Worthington stated she had a call from an apartment owner on Larpentuer about the “no parking” signs posted on California, south of Larpenteur. After researching the MSA requirements
of the street, it was found that the street would still be in MSA compliance if parking was allowed? on both sides of California. Staff will re-post the area with “no parking 9 a.m.
to 2 p.m. after 2-inch snowfall.” 3. Construction Update 06/07 Engineer Bloom began by giving an update on the Roselawn reconstruction project. She stated preconstruction meetings will
be held to address road closures and so groups can ask questions. Administrator Worthington stated the Hamline/Hoyt project will be started after the Fair, but utility work may occur
before then. Discussion on the St. Mary’s/Larpenteur intersection re-paving commenced. Finally, Engineer Bloom and Parks and Public Works Director Hoag told the council the City Hall
parking lot will be re-constructed next year, with features in mind for the 2007 construction of the community garden. Mayor Gehrz adjourned the meeting at 8:00 p.m.
