COUNCIL RESOLUTION
Date: March 8, 1995
A RESOLUTION RECEIVING FEASIBILITY REPORT AND CALLING SECOND HEARING
ON PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the council adopted October 26, 1994, a
report has been prepared by the city engineer with reference to the improvement of the
following alleys:
• Between Larpenteur Avenue and California Avenue
- Arona Street to Pascal Street
- Pascal Street to Albert Street
• Between California Avenue and Idaho Avenue
- Arona Street to Pascal Street
• -Pascal Street to Albert Street
• Between Idaho Avenue and Iowa Avenue
- Pascal Street to Albert Street
WHEREAS, this report was received by the city council on October 26, 1994 and
a public hearing held on February 8, 1995; and
WHEREAS, ten properties, located on Idaho Avenue between Arona Street and
Pascal Street, did not receive proper mailed notification of the public hearing on the
proposed improvement; and
WHEREAS, the city council wishes to provide proper notification of the proposed
improvement to these affected property owners by conducting a second public hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF FALCON
HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA:
1. The council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance
with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion
of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter
429 at an estimated total cost of the improvement of S 143,000.

2. A second public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on
the twelfth day of April, 1995 in the council chambers of the city hall at
7:10 p.m. and the clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such
hearing and improvement to the ten affected property owners not
previously notified, as required by law.
