COUNCIL RESOLUTION

A RESOLUTION GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR ADDITIONAL BUILDING
HEIGHT AT 2129 W. LARPENTEUR AVENUE
WHEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights received an application from Lawrence
Greenberg and Carol Kindschi of 2129 W. Larpenteur Avenue for the construction of a 32'
high residential addition where 25' is allowed by code; and
WHEREAS, the city code allows residential buildings to be built at heights above 25'
with the issuance of a conditional use permit; and
WHEREAS, the city council did carefully consider the request as welt as the
recommendations made by the city's planning commission after holding the required public
hearing; and
• WHEREAS, it was determined that the conditional use permit meets all the general
and specific requirements set forth in Chapter 9-15.04 subd. 3 (a) of the zoning code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the city council of the City of Falcon
Heights that a conditional use permit be issued for additional building height at 2129 W.
Larpenteur Avenue subject to the following conditions:
1. The addition to the building will not exceed 32 feet in height, as measured
from ground grade to the building's peak.
2. The addition shall be constructed of building materials that match the exterior
of the existing structure.
