A RESOLUTION CHANGING THE PRECINCT POLLING PLACE FOR PRECINCT NO. 2
OF THE CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS
WHEREAS, the City Council has the power pursuant to Minnesota
Statues Chapter 204B.16 to designate the polling place for each
precinct within a municipality; and
WHEREAS, the polling place for Precinct No. 2 has been
designated at 1795 Holton Street (Falcon Heights United Church of
Christ) in the City of Falcon Heights; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to change the Precinct No. 2
polling place to a school, for reasons including the desire far the
city's school children to witness the electoral process.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
• City of Falcon Heights hereby changes the polling place for
Precinct No. 2 to 1393 Garden Avenue (Falcon Heights Elementary
School); and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this polling place change will be
effective January 1, 1995.
