ORDERING A FEASIBILITY REPORT AND RECEIVING THE FEASIBILITY REPORT
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve the alleys between Larpenteur Avenue and
California Avenue from Arona to Pascal Street and Pascal Street to Albert
Street; between California and Idaho from Arona Street to Pascal Street and
Pascal Street to Albert Street; and between Idaho and Iowa from Pascal Street
to Albert Street;
WHEREAS, on July 28, 1994 the city council moved to have the city engineer
prepare a draft feasibility report on the possible improvement of these alleys;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF FALCON
HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA THAT
• the city engineer be instructed to prepare a feasibility report for the city council
on the improvements that will advise the council in a preliminary way as to
whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best
be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the
estimated cost of the improvement as recommended;
And that the city council will consider the improvement of the alleys as
described above in accordance with the report; and that the city council will
consider assessment of abutting property owners for all or a portion of the cost
of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 at an
estimated total cost of the improvement of S 143,000.
A public hearing shall be scheduled and held on the proposed improvement at
a later date.
