COUNCIL RESOLUTION

A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE CITY'S FEE SCHEDULE WITH RESPECT TO
TOBACCO LICENSING FEES
WHEREAS, city code allows for changes in the city fee schedule by adoption
of a resolution; and
WHEREAS, in August of 1994 the city council adopted new policies regarding
the selling of tobacco products to minors; and
WHEREAS, additional police and staff time will be required to monitor the
compliance of tobacco vendors with these policies.
• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the city council of Falcon Heights,
MN does hereby amend chapter 5-4.01 of the city code and raise the license fee for
an annual tobacco vendor license from 540.00 per year to 5250.00 per year, effective
with licenses issued for the 1995 calendar year.
