HomeMy WebLinkAboutCCRes_93-17• RESOLUTION 93 - 17 A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING THE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council on November 25, 1992, Maier Stewart & Associates, Inc., has prepared plans and specifications for the improvement of: Fulham Street from Hoyt Avenue to Folwell Avenue Vincent Street from Hoyt Avenue to Folwell Avenue Northrup Street from Hoyt Avenue to Folwell Avenue Burton Street from Hoyt Avenue to Folwell Avenue Coffman Street from Hoyt Avenue to Folwell Avenue Folwell Avenue from Fulham Street to Hoyt Avenue Autumn Street from Roselawn Avenue to Prior Avenue Prior Avenue from Roselawn Avenue to Summer Street Summer Street from Moore Avenue to Howell Avenue Hoyt Avenue from Fulham Street to Folwell Avenue • NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota: 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference, are hereby approved. 2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in The Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids for the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for 21 days, shall specify the work to be done, and shall state that the bids will be opened and the responsibility of the bidders will be considered by the Council at 10:00 a. m. on April 6, 1993, in the Council chambers of the City Hall, 2077 Larpenteur Avenue. Any bidder whose responsibility is questioned during consideration of the bid will be given an opportunity to address the Council on the issue of responsibility. No bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond, or certified check payable to the City Clerk in the amount of five% of the amount of such bid.
