HomeMy WebLinkAboutCCRes_93-31No. R-93-31 • CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS C O U N C I L R E S O L U T I O N Date: 7/28/93 RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE FOR 1731 PASCAL ST. WHEREAS, Ronald and Dorothy Ronchak, 1731 Pascal St. has requested a variance of three feet on the north sideyard setback for construction of a new garage; and WHEREAS, the planning commission at the July 26, 1993 meeting studied and discussed the issue after which the following findings for recommending the granting of the variance were submitted to the city council: a. That the amendment to the variance will not be detrimental to the public welfare; b. That the amendment to the variance will not substantially diminish or impair property values or improvements in the area; c. That the amendment to the variance is necessary for the • preservation and enjoyment of substantial property rights; d. That the amended variance will not impair an adequate supply of light and air to adjacent property; e. That the amended variance will not impair the orderly use of the public streets; and f. That the amended variance will not increase the danger of of fire or endanger the public safety.
