C O U N C I L R E S O L U T I O N
Date: June 24 1992
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A RECREATION SCHOLARSHIP TRUST FUND

WHEREAS, the purpose of this fund will be to grant
scholarships to persons desiring to participate in city recreation programs
who otherwise may not be able to afford to do so; and
WHEREAS, the Parks & Recreation Commission intends to solicit
donations to maintain this fund; and
WHEREAS, the commission has recommended guidelines for admin-
istering the program; and
WHEREAS, it is required that such funds be established by
resolution,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the city council of the city of
Falcon Heights that a recreation scholarship trust fund be established and
that the city administrator and parks, recreation and community services
director by authorized to award such scholarships based on the guidelines
recommended by the parks and recreation commission.
