C O U N C I L R E S O L U T I O N

A RESOLUTION VACATING CERTAIN EASEMENTS WITHIN THE
PLAT OF STRATFORD PROFESSIONAL OFFICE PARK,
RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA
WHEREAS, certain drainage and utility easements within
Lots 3, 4, 5 and 6, Block 1, Stratford Professional Office Park,
Ramsey County, Minnesota, were dedicated on the plat of Stratford
Professional Office Park, Ramsey County, Minnesota, filed on the 3rd
day of August, 1987, in Book 101, page 28, as Document No. 2395291, and
WHEREAS, said property is located within the City of Falcon
Heights and the council of the City of Falcon Heights has determined by
a vote of at least four-fifths of its members, after a public hearing
preceded by at least two weeks published and posted notice, that it is
• in the best interests of the public to vacate said easements, and
WHEREAS, written notice has been mailed to each property
owner affected by the proposed vacation at least ten days prior to the
public hearing, and
WHEREAS, the aforedescribed easements do not terminate at or
abut upon any public water, and
WHEREAS, the aforedescribed procedures are all in accordance
with Minnesota Statute Sec. 412.851, regulating vacations by statutory
cities.
NOW THEREFORE, it is resolved by the council of the City of
Falcon Heights that the easements described as follows are hereby vacated:
The utility easement located within Lots 3, 4, 5 and
6, Block 1, as designated on the plat, and the drainage
and utility easement located within Lot 6, Block 1, of
Stratford Professional Office Park, Ramsey County,
and vacate the stormwater holding pond easement on Lot
6, Block 1 of the Stratford Professional Office Park.

The City Clerk is hereby directed to prepare a Notice of Completion of
Vacation Proceedings which shall contain the name of the City of Falcon
Heights and a copy of this Resolution. The clerk shall present said notice
to the Ramsey County auditor who shall enter the same in the transfer
records and note upon the instrument, over official signature, the words
"Entered in the Transfer Record." The notice shall then be filed with the
county recorder.
This resolution is adopted by the council of the City of Falcon
Heights on the 9th day of July, 1992.
