C O U N C I L R E S O L U T I O N
Date: Aug. 26, 1992
RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE ROSEVILLE AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT
BOND REFERENDUM
WHEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights is committed to the
education and well-being of its children and adults; and
WHEREAS, the majority of children within the City of Falcon
Heights attend Roseville Area School District 623; and
WHEREAS, the school buildings in District 623 require major
repairs and improvements to meet current health, education, and accessibility
standards; and
WHEREAS, the Falcon Heights Elementary School, which is within
the City of Falcon Heights, is part of the proposed repair and renovation
project; and
WHEREAS, school district property taxes will rise without the bond
issue in order to make mandated health and safety improvements; and
community;
WHEREAS, schools are a valuable resource for all members of the
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Falcon Heights
supports the Roseville Area School District Bond Referendum; and
encourages residents to come out and vote for the passage of the bond issue.
