A RESOLUTION APPROVING ADDENDUM NO. 1
TO THE RAMSEY COUNTY COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT
WITH THE CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS
WHEREAS, the county and the city desire to construct Cleveland
Avenue (CSAH 46) between Larpenteur Avenue and County Road B; and
WHEREAS, the county and the city desire to construct a median
within the center fourteen feet of Cleveland Avenue from approximately
765 feet north of Larpenteur Avenue to approximately 350 feet south of
Roselawn Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the county and the city desire to provide landscaping
within the median; and the county proposes to prepare the necessary plans and
specifications for the construction of the median and landscaping. The
county shall submit the plan to the city for review; and
WHEREAS, the county shall furnish and install or cause the
installation of the median and landscaping at its own expense subject to an
• amount eligible for reimbursement from its county state aid highway fund
account; and
WHEREAS, upon completion of the project by the county, the city
shall own, maintain, and replace as needed all trees, shrubs, bushes and
other materials within the median; and
WHEREAS, the work provided for in this addendum represents a
cooperative landscape demonstration effort. Responsibilities for design,
installation, ownership, maintenance and funding have been developed for this
specific initiative and shall not be considered a model for landscaping on
future county projects;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the City of
Falcon Heights that Addendum No. 1 to the Ramsey County Cooperative Agreement
with the City of Falcon Heights be approved.
