RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF
SUNIIKARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 0-92-5
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 0-92-5 entitled "An Ordinance Amending Chapter
8, Part 4, of the City Code relating to Regulation of Trees, Shrubs and
other Plants" was adopted by the Falcon Heights City Council on November
12, 1992; and
WHEREAS, said ordinance contains several pages of text; and
WHEREAS, the contents of said ordinance can be summarized as follows:
Ordinance R-92-5 does not amend the content or purpose of
the code but provides for changes in language to make the
code more concise, understandable and less lengthy.
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes Section 412.191 authorizes publication of
ordinance summaries in lieu of publication of the entire text of ordinances
under certain circumstances; and
WHEREAS, the council hereby determines that publication of this
resolution, including the title and summary of Ordinance No. R-92-5 will
clearly inform the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance.
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the council of the City of
Falcon Heights, Minnesota, as follows:
1. A copy of this resolution shall be published in lieu
of publishing a copy of Ordinance 0-92-5.
2. A copy of the complete ordinance shall be available
for inspection in the office of the City Clerk.
