C O U N C I L R E S O L U T I O N
• Date May 22, 1991
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR 1991 SEALCOATING
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement
of the 1991 street seal coating, bids were received, opened, and tabulated
according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the
advertisement:
Allied Blacktop Co. $17,314.60
Bituminous Roadways, Inc. 18,545.47
Bituminous Consulting & Con-
tracting, Inc. 22,515.00
Astech Corp. 23,995.00
AND VdHEREAS~ it appears that Allied Blacktop of Maple Grove,
Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF FALCON
HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter
• into the attached contract with Allied Blacktop Co. of Maple Grove,
Minnesota, in the name of the City of Falcon Heights for the improvement
of 1991 street sealcoating, according to the plans and specifications
therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of
the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith
to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except the deposits
of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained
until a contract has been signed.
