A RESOLUTION REQUESTING RAMSEY COUNTY TO ADDRESS FACTORS
GOVERNING SAFETY ISSUES ON LARPENTEUR AVENUE,
FULHAM STREET TO ST. MARY'S STREET
WHEREAS, a number of residents of 1666 Coffman, a condominium
within the City of Falcon Heights, have expressed concern for
the safety of pedestrians and vehicular traffic on Larpenteur
Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the Falcon Heights City Council perceives there may
be a safety issue;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Falcon Heights City
Council, that Ramsey County be requested to address all factors
governing safety of turning movements and pedestrian safety
including reduction of the speed limit from 40 mph to 30 mph
from Fulham Street to St. Mary's Street in the City of Falcon
Heights.
