A RESOLIITZON OF CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS
WHEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights is in need of
a new fire truck;
AND WHEREAS, the specifications for such equipment are
prepared and have been presented to the Council for approval;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLOED, by the City Council of
the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota as follows:
1. Such specifications, a copy of which is attached to this
resolution and made a part of it, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the
• official newspaper an advertisement for bids for the
purchase of such equipment according to these
specifications. The advertisement shall be published in the
newspaper on August 7, 1991, shall call for bids based on a
cash payment upon delivery and acceptance, shall state that
bids will be opened and considered by the Council at 10:00
a.m. on September 4, 1991, in the council chambers of the
city hall, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed
and filed with the clerk (and accompanied by a cash deposit
or certified check payable to the clerk for five percent of
the amount of the bid.)
