C O U N C I L R E S O L U T I O N

RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT FOR THE
LAUDERDALE/ROSEVILLE POLICE CONTRACT
WHEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights council and administration
has been fully aware of discussions between the cities of Lauderdale and
Roseville regarding future police service; and
WHEREAS, the Roseville/Lauderdale contract for police services
does not adversely affect services provided to Falcon Heights residents;
and
WHEREAS, the cities of Roseville and Falcon Heights believe that the
extension of the police services contract will be mutually beneficial
to Roseville, Falcon Heights, and Lauderdale residents; and
WHEREAS, in the spirit, of cooperation the Falcon Heights city council
supports the extension of Roseville police services to Lauderdale at the same
cost per capita enjoyed by Roseville and Falcon Heights;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the city council of Falcon Heights
support a contract for police services between the cities of
Roseville and Lauderdale.
