C O U N C I L R E S O L U T I O N
Date September 12,1990
A RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER
22, 1990 AS NATIONAL VOTER REGISTRATION DAY
WHEREAS, The League of Women Voters encourages citizen
participation in government through voting, and
WHEREAS, The League of Women Voters of the United
States has proclaimed a day emphasizing voter registration,
and
WHEREAS, The Falcon Heights City Council recognizes the
importance of voter registration and endorses the League of
Women Voters in the promotion of this project
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Falcon Heights City
Council, that the City of Falcon Heights join other
municipalities in proclaiming Saturday, September 22, as
National Voter Registration Day.
