A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING A VARIANCE TO THE
MUNICIPAL STATE AID REQUIREMENTS

WHEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights is considering a Municipal State Aid
improvement project on Arona Street (M.S.A.S. 124-101-02) between
Garden Avenue and Roselawn Avenue; and
WHEREAS, part of the consideration in the design of the improvement will be
on-street parking along Arona Street;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Falcon
Heights, Minnesota:
1. The City of Falcon Heights hereby requests a variance to the Minnesota
Department of Transportation State-Aid Operations requirement 8820,9912
Urban State-Aid Streets, 30 MPH Design Speed.
2. Specifically, the City of Falcon Heights requests a variance to allow
parking on both sides of a low density collector constructed 34 feet
wide.
PASSED and adopted this 14th day of November, 1990.
