A RESOLUTION RELATING TO APPROVING ELECTION OF JANET R. WIESSNER
TO BE EXCLUDED FROM THE PUBLIC EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT ASSOCIATION
WHEREAS, Janet R. Wiessner, has not if ied the City Council of her election
to be excluded from membership in the Public Employees Retirement Association
and has provided this Council with a copy of her written election to do so, all
as authorized by Minnesota Statutes Section 353.028.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Cty_of Ealcon
Heights as follows:
1. The Council makes the following findings:
(a) Janet R. Wiessner is the Clerk Administrator of the City
of Falcon Heights, Minnesota.
(b) That position is provided for in the ordinances of the City
of Falcon Heights.
• (c) She was duly appointed to serve in that position effective
May, 1987.
(d) The Clerk Administrator is the chief administrative officer
of the City of Falcon Heights.
(e) Acting under Minnesota Statutes 353.028, she has elected to be
excluded from membership in the Public Employees Retirement
Association, effective upon her filing such election with the
Executive Director of that Association.
(f) In making this election, she has agreed that she will not at
any time in the future seek any authorization to purchase
service credit for any period of excluded service. She has
further agreed that this election is irrevocable.
2. Said election is therefore approved.
3. A certified copy of this Resolution shall be provided to the Executive
