A RESOLUTION URGING THE BOARD OF RAMSEY COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO CONTINUE
FUNDING THE NORTHWEST YOUTH SERVICE BUREAU.
WHEREAS, the Northwest Suburban Youth Service Bureau has provided critical
family counseling and youth diversion programs for Falcon Heights, and,
WHEREAS, the Northwest Suburban Youth Service Bureau has recently added a
much needed mental health component to their services, and,
WHEREAS, these services have proven to be an extremely cost effective method
of delivery for our residents, and,
WHEREAS, continued county funding is essential to the continuation of these
services,
WHEREAS, this has been a cooperative effort between the municipalities, school
districts, and county,
NOW, therefore, be it resolved that the City Council of the City of Falcon
Heights does urge the-Board of Commissioners of Ramsey County to participate
in the cooperati~,eeffort continued funding of the Northwest Suburban Youth
. Service Bureau at a level not less than currently provided.
