RESOLUTION RELATING TO DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 1 AND
ADOPTING AN AMENDED DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS:
1. This Council acting under and pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.124
to 469.134, has previously established Development District No. 1 in the City (the
"Development District"), and approved a Development Program (the "Original Program")
for the District.
2. On March 23, 2988, this Council held a public hearing on an Amendment to the
Original Program and Development District (the "Amendment"), after notice of the
public hearing was published in the official newspaper of the City not less than
10 days prior to the date of the hearing. All persons desiring to be heard at the
hearing were given an opportunity to express their view.
3. The Council hereby determines and declares that there is a need for new
• development in the area of the City encompassed by the Development District to
provide employment opportunities, to improve the tax base and to improve the
general economy of the state. The Council hereby finds that the proposed
amendments to the Development Program and District would improve the Development
District by increasing employment and the tax base of the City and overlapping
taxing jurisdictions. It is in the best interests of the City to adopt the
amended Development Program and District.
4. Upon review of the Development Program, the information elicited from
the planning agency and at the public hearing, this Council hereby adopts the
amendments to the Development Program and District and orders that the
Development Program and District, as so amended, be placed on file in the office
of the City Clerk.

which the attached resolution was transcribed.
2. I have carefully compared the attached resolution with the original
record of the meeting at which the resolution was acted upon.
3. I find the attached resolution to be a true, correct and complete copy
of the original:

4. Said resolution remains in full force and effect in the form in which

pursuant to call and notice thereof, as required by law on March 23, 1988, and
a quorum was present at such meeting.
