A RESOLUTION RELATING TO ADt3pTING AN ASSESSI~ZENT FOR
DISEASED ELM TREE REMOVAL AT 1358 6'~E3T IOWA
Ih~iERF.AS, a Public Hearing was held by the Falcon Heights City Council
at 7:15 P.rM., April 27, 1988, to consider a special assessment for
removal of a diseased Elm Tree at 1358 ~~est Iowa as provided in
Section 8-t~.02, Subd. 2e of the ?Municipal Code, and
WHEREAS, the special assessment prepared for this property does cover
the cost of tree removal,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the assessment roll be aparoved as
presented, said assessment may be paid in cash, without interest, if paid
within 30 days from the date hereof. Thereafter, the amount assessed will
be added for collection with the real estate taxes at an interest rate of
eight percent (8~) per annum from the date hereof to December 31 in the
year in which the first payment is payable.
The Clerk Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to certify a copy
of the assessment and copy of this resolution to the County Auditor of
Ramsey County to be extended on the proper tax lists of the County for
collection with other real estate taxes in and for the City.
