A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL TO
GRANT AN EXTENSION TO DECEMBER 31, 1990 FOR UPDATING
THE COMPREHENSIVE MUNICIPAL PLAN
WHEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights is required to update its
Comprehensive Municipal Plan to conform to the Metropolitan Systems
Plans for waste water treatment and handling (sewers) and for
transportation by January 1, 1990, and
WHEREAS, the City will be updating its Comprehensive Municipal
Plan over the next year, and
WHEREAS, the City Council feels it would be reasonable and economical
to address all aspects of the plan at one time,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights
is requesting the Metropolitan Council to grant an extension
to December 31, 1990 for updating the Comprehensive Municipal
Plan.
