A RESOLtTTION RELATING TO REOPENING FALCON HEIGHTS ELEMENTARY
SCHOOL
WHEREAS, the District 623 Board of Education has responded to the need
for additional space in the elementary school program by re-opening
Falcon Heights Elementary School, and
WHEREAS, this community has always participated with pride in the
challenge of educating our children, and
WHEREAS, Falcon Heights Elementary School had been a focus of community
supported and quality delivered educational opportunities, and
WHEREAS, Falcon Heights Elementary School will now again be a strong,
effective learning center for elementary school children of all
abilities.
BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights does
proclaim Saturday, September 13, 1986, as Educational Renewal Day in
recognition of the Re-Opening of Falcon Heights Elementary School, and
• BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council requests that each community
resident use this day as an opportunity to renew our commitment to
quality education opportunities for all.
