C O U N C I L R E S O L U T I O N

A RESOLUTION RELATING TO ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE FEASIBILITY STUDY
AND PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
FOR THE LARPENTEUR AVENUE-COFFMAN IMPROVEMENTS
RESOLVED, That the City Council adopted an ordinance establishing a general policy
relating to local improvements such as utilities and special assessments therefore
in July, 1984; and
RESOLVED, That the City Council acting pursuant to this policy wishes to examine
the feasibility of a utility improvement project on Larpenteur Avenue between
Cleveland Avenue and the University of Minnesota Golf Course Club and utility
and a street reconstruction project on Coffman Street between Larpenteur
Avenue and Folwell; and
RESOLVED, That the City received a feasibility report dated August 30, 1984, from
its Engineer regarding the need for and feasibility of a utility and street
reconstruction project;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council of Falcon Heights accepts
and approves the feasibility study, plans and specifications, and authorizes
the Clerk Administrator to advertise for bids for the above mentioned project.
