C O U N C I L R E S O L U T I O N
Date June 12, 1985
A RESOLUTION RELATING TO CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE LARPENTEUR
AVENUE-COFFMAN IMPROVEMENTS
RESOLVED, That the Council adopted an ordinance establishing a general policy relating
to local improvements such as utilities and special assessments therefore in July,
1984; and
WHEREAS, the City Council acting pursuant to this policy wishes to examine the
feasibility of a utility improvement project on Larpenteur Avenue between
Cleveland Avenue and the University of Minnesota Golf Course Club and utility
and a street reconstruction project on Coffman between Larpenteur Avenue and
Folwell; and
WHEREAS, the City received a feasibility report dated August 30, 1984 from its
Engineer, Robert G. Schunicht, regarding the need for and feasibility of the
utility and street reconstruction project;
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights,
• Minnesota, will give notice and hold a hearing in accordance with Minnesota
Statutes, Section 429.031 to further discuss whether to order improvements
discussed above. The hearing will be held July 10, 1985 at 7:30 p.m. at
the City Hall, 2077 W. Larpenteur Avenue.-
