EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FALCON
MINNESOTA
HELD: June 26, 1985
OF THE CITY
HEIGHTS,
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights,
Minnesota, was duly held at the City Hall in the City on the
26th day of June, 1985, at 7:30 P.M.
The following members were present: Mayor Eggert,
Councilmembers Hard, Ciernia, and Chenoweth
and the following were absent: Councilmember Baldwin
Member Eggert introduced the
following resolution and moved its adoption:
• RESOLUTION R-85-31
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MODIFIED
TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN
FOR DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 1
WHEREAS:
A. The City Council has had under consideration a
proposal to modify the existing tax increment financing plan
(the "Tax Increment Financing Plan") relating to the existing
Development District No. 1 pursuant to the provisions of
Minnesota Statutes, Sections 273.71 to 273.78 and Chapter 472A
(herein collectively called "the Act").
B. A public hearing on the modification of the Tax
Increment Financing Plan was duly held before the City Council
after due publication of notice of said hearing.

• C. The City has performed all actions required by
law to be performed prior to the modification of the Tax
Increment Financing Plan, including, but not limited to,
notification of Ramsey County and Independent School District
No. 625, and Special Independent School District No. 916 having
taxing jurisdiction over the property included in Development
District No. 1 and the holding of a public hearing upon
published and mailed notice as required by law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Falcon Heights, as follows:
1. The City Council hereby finds that the modification of
Tax Increment Financing Plan is intended and, in the judgment
of this City Council, its effect will be, to provide an impetus
for development in the City, to increase employment, and
otherwise promote certain public purposes and accomplish
certain objectives as specified in the Tax Increment Financing
Plan.
2. The tax increment financing plan as set forth in the
booklet entitled "Development District No. 1 (As Amended) and
Tax Increment Financing Plan for Housing District No. 2 City of
Falcon Heights, Minnesota Amended June 26, 1985" prepared by
Ehlers & Associates is hereby adopted.
• 3. The findings of the Council set forth in its
resolution dated February 27, 1985 relating to Development
District No. 1 are hereby confirmed and adopted.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing
resolution was duly seconded by member Lard and
upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: P4ayor Eggert, Councilmembers Hard, Ciernia and Chenoweth
and the following voted against the same: None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed
and adopted.

acting Clerk-Administrator of the City of Falcon Heights,
Minnesota, DO HEREBY CERTIFY that I have compared the attached
and foregoing extract of minutes with the original thereof on
file in my office, and that the same is a full, true and
complete transcript of the minutes of a meeting of the Council
of said City, duly called and held on the date therein
indicated, insofar as such minutes relate to a resolution
approving a modification of its Tax Increment Financing Plan
for Development District No. 1.
