CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA
HELD: JUNE 26, 1985
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights,
Ramsey County, Minnesota, was duly held on the 26th day of
June, 1985 at ;lp p.m. and 7:15
p.m.
The following members of the Council were present:
Mayor Eggert, Councilmembers Bard, Ciernia, and Chenoweth
and the following were absent: Councilmember Baldwin
Member Eggert introduced the following
resolution and moved its adoption:

RESOLUTION CALLING FOR PUBLIC HEARING
ON THE REDUCTION OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
DISTRICT NO. 1 WITHIN DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 1
AND THE CREATION OF TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT
NO. 1-3 WITHIN DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 1
WHEREAS:
The City of Falcon Heights has heretofore formed
Development District No. 1 and Economic Development District
No. 1 within Development District No. 1 in the City. It has
been proposed that the City (i) modify Economic Development

and (ii) establish a new Tax Increment Financing District No.
1-3 within Development District No. 1 and adopt a tax increment

financing plan for Tax Increment Financing District No. 1-3 in
accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Section 273.71 to 273.78
and Chapter 472A (collectively the "Act");
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Falcon Heights that public hearings on said
proposals will be held at the times and places set forth in the
Notices of Hearing hereto attached and incorporated herein by
reference. The Clerk-Administrator is authorized and directed
to cause said Notices of Hearing to be published in a newspaper
of general circulation in the City at least once not less than
10 days nor more than 30 days prior to the date of hearing and
to cause a copy of said notice to be mailed to the County
Auditor of Ramsey County and the School Board Clerk of
Independent School District No. 623 and the School Board Clerk
of Special Intermediate School Board No. 916.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing
resolution was duly seconded by member and upon
vote being taken thereon, the following vote in favor thereof;
Mayor Eggert, Councilmembers Hard, Ciernia, and Chenoweth
and the following voted against the same: None.
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed
and adopted.

complete transcript of the minutes of a meeting of the City
Council of said City, duly called and held on the date therein
indicated, insofar as such minutes relate to calling for public
hearings on the reduction of Economic Development District
No. 1 and the creation of Tax Increment Financing District

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the City Council (the
"Council") of the City of Falcon Heights, County of Ramsey,
State of Minnesota, will hold a public hearing on Wednesday,
July 24, 1985 at 7:10 p.m. at the City Hall, 2077 Larpenteur
Avenue, Falson Heights, Minnesota, relating to the removal
of the Hawkins Trust parcel from Economic Development District
No. 1 within Development District No. 1 and the modification
• of the tax increment financing plan relating thereto.
Such persons as desire to be heard with reference to
the above items will be heard at this meeting.

STATE OF MINNESOTA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council (the
"Council") of the City of Falcon Heights, County of Ramsey,
State of Minnesota, will hold a public hearing on Wednesday,
June 24, 1985 at 7:15 p.m. at the City Hall, 2077 Larpenteur
Avenue, Falcon Heights, Minnesota, relating to the establish-
ment of an economic development tax increment financing
district ("Tax Increment Financing District No. 1-3") within
Development District No. 1, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes,
Chapter 472A, as amended, and Minnesota Statutes, Sections
273.71 to 273.78, inclusive, as amended. The hearing is also
relative to the adoption of a tax increment financing plan for
Tax Increment Financing District No. 1-3, a copy of which will
be on file and available for public inspection at the City
Hall.
The property proposed to be included in the Tax Increment
Financing District No. 1-3 is generally described as follows:
Description
That land generally located north of Larpenteur
Avenue, east of Fairview Street and east of
Cleveland Avenue (including the Hawkins Trust
property.)
Such persons as desire to be heard with reference to the
above items will be heard at this meeting.
