C O U N C I L R E S O L U T I O N
Date July 10, 1985
A RESOLUTION RELATING TO ORDERING LARPENTEUR/COFFMAN IMPROVEMENTS
OF 1985 AND DIRECTING PREPARATION OF FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
RESOLVED, Thatafter due notice of Public Hearing on the construction of storm
sewer and street improvements for the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, hearing
on said improvements was duly held and the Council heard all persons desiring to
be heard on the matter and fully considered the same;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. It is advisable, expedient and necessary that said improvements as
described in the Notice of Hearing thereon be constructed, and the same are
hereby ordered made.
2. The improvements described in said Notice of Hearing are hereby
designated and shall be known as Larpenteur/Coffman Improvements of 1985.
3. The consulting engineers, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlick and Associates,
• are hereby directed to prepare final plans. and specifications of said improvements.
4. The City Council shall let the contract for all or part of the work for
said improvements or order all or part of the work done by day labor or otherwise
as authorized by Minnesota Statutes, Section 429.041, Subdivision 2, within one
year of the date of this resolution ordering said improvements.

LARPENTEUR/COFFMAN IMPROVEMENTS
EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA
HELD: JULY 10, 1985
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was duly called and held at
the City Hall in said City on the 10th day of July, 1985 at 7:00 P.M.
The following members were present:
Acting Mayor Ciernia, Baldwin and Chenoweth and the following were
absent: Mayor Eggert and Councilmember Hard.
The meeting was held pursuant to resolution adopted June 12, 1985,
calling a public hearing on the proposed Tatum Street Improvements of 1985
in said City, as more particularly described in the Notice of a Public Hearing
ordered at said June 12, 1985 meeting, a copy of which is attached hereto.
The Clerk-Administrator presented affidavits showing the due publication and
mailing of the Notices of Hearing and the Acting Mayor announced that the
Council would hear all persons who cared to be heard for or against the
improvements as outlined in the Notice of Hearing. All persons present
were afforded an opportunity to present their views and objections to the
making of said improvements, and no objections were presented, except as

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
DATE AND NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that at 7:30 u.m, on

July 10, 1985 at City Sall, 2077 West Larpenteur
Avenue, Falcon Heights, Minnesota a public
hearing will be held to consider improvements
to Larpenteur Avenue and Coffman Street
IMPROVEMENTS Such improvements shall include a utility
improvement project on Larpenteur Avenue
between Cleveland Avenue and the IIniveristy
of Minnesota Golf Course Club and utility and a
street reconstruction project on Coffman Street
between Larpenteur Avenue and Folwell.
COST The estimated cost of the improvements are
$420,000. The parcels to be assessed are
located in the following area:
AREA PROPOSED South ~ of SE quarter of section 17, Township
TO BE ASSESSED
29, Range 23 and the North ~ of NE quarter of
section 20, Township 29, Range 23.

Clerk-Administrator of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota,

going extract of minutes with the original thereof on file in
my office, and that the same is a full, true and complete
transcript of the minutes of a meeting of the City Council of
said City, duly called and held on the date therein indicated
insofar as such minutes relate to ordering and directing
preparation of final plans and specifications for Tatum Street
• Improvements of 1985 in said City. "
