A RESOLUTION RELATING TO ESTABLISHING THE RATE OF ASSISTANCE FOR SHADE
TREE SANITATION OF PRIVATE PROPERTY
RESOLVED, That the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, is delirious of minimizing Dutch
Elm disease within the City of Falcon Heights, and
RESOLVED, That the City will assist homeowners to rid the City of the diseased trees
by assuming a portion of the cost of removal.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights,
Minnesota, does hereby establish the rate of assistance to private property owners
at 50 percent of the cost of removal effective January 1, 1985, not to exceed $50.00
per tree, limit to five (5) trees per lot per calendar year, and
FURTHER, That the 20 trees located on Asbury, Pascal, Simpson and Arona, which appear
to be boulevard trees but are on private property shall be reimbursed at $100 per
tree for a two year period ending September 1, 1987. All trees not removed in that
period will revert back as private trees.
