C O U N C I L R E S O L U T I O N '

A RESOLUTION RELATING TO ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE FEASIBILITY
STUDY, PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE LINDTG AVENUE STORM
DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT
RESOLVED, That the City Council adopted an ordinance establishing a general
policy relating to local improvements such. as utilities and special
assessments therefore in July, 1984; and
RESOLVED, That the City Council acting pursuant to this policy wishes to
examine the feasibility of a storm drainage improvement project on.
Lindig Avenue; and
RESOLVED, That the City received a feasibility report dated August 12,
1985, from its Engineer regarding a need for and~'teasibility of a storm
drainage improvement project; and
RESOLVED, That such feasibility study, plans and specifications be
approved; and that since a large number of persons were opposed to
development of the area and not interested in the reduced cost;
• BE IT ALSO RESOLVED, That as a result of the discussion the City
Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, will not pursue any
furr_her action on the Lindig storm drainage improvement project at
this time.
