EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA
HELD: AUGUST 28, 1985
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights,
Ramsey County, Minnesota, was duly held on at 7 p.m.
The following members of the Council were present:
Hard, Chenoweth, Baldwin. and Ciernia.
and the following were absent:
Eggert.
Member Hard introduced the following
resolution and moved its adoption: R.-85-49
• RESOLUTION MODIFYING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
DISTRICT NO. 1 WITHIN DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 1
WHEREAS:
A. The City of Falcon Heights has heretofore formed
Development District No. 1 and Economic Development District
No. 1 within Development District No. 1 in the City and it has
been proposed that the City modify Economic Development
District No. 1 to delete the Hawkins Trust parcel therefrom and
modify the existing tax increment financing plan relating to
Economic Development District No. 1 to delete the Hawkins Trust
parcel from Economic Development District No. 1 in accordance
with Minnesota Statutes, Section 273.71 to 273.78 and Chapter
472A (collectively the "Act");
B. In accordance with the provisions of the Act, the
City Council has given the members of the Board of
Commissioners of Ramsey County and the School Board of
Independent School District No. 623 and Special Intermediate
School Board No. 916 an opportunity to meet with the City
Council to discuss the fiscal and economic implications of
Development District No. 1;

C. Said proposal has heretofore been given
• preliminary approval by the City Council; and
D. A public hearing was duly held on said proposal
on July 24, 1985 and continued to this date in accordance with
the provisions of the Act;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Falcon Heights as follows:
1. Economic Development District No. 1 is hereby modified
in that the Hawkins Trust parcel is deleted therefrom.
2. The Tax Increment Financing Plan is hereby modified to
delete the Hawkins Trust parcel from Economic Development
District No. 1.
3. The Clerk-Administrator is authorized and directed to
notify the Auditor of Ramsey County that the Economic
Development District No. 1 has been modified and is authorized
and directed to file a copy of this resolution with the
Minnesota Energy and Economic Development Authority.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing
resolution was duly seconded by member Ci:ernia and upon
vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof;
• Hard, Chenoweth, Baldwin,arcd Ciernia.
and the following voted against the same:
None.
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed
and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and
acting Clerk-Administrator of the City of Falcon Heights,
Minnesota, DO HEREBY CERTIFY that I have compared the attached
and foregoing extract of minutes with the original thereof on
file in my office, and that the same is a full, true and
complete transcript of the minutes of a meeting of the City
Council of said City, duly called and held on the date therein
indicated, insofar as such minutes relate to the modification
of Economic Development District No. 1 in the City.
