C O U N C I L R E S O L U T I O N

A RESOLUTION RELATING TO ORDERING THE PREPARATION OF A FEASIBILITY
STUDY, PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING THE ADVERTISEMENT
FOR BIDS THEREON FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE ALLEY NORTH OF
LARPENTEUR BETWEEN SNELLING DRIVE AND ARONA STREET
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, acting pursuant to
its local improvement ordinance and. Minnesota Statutes Section 429.031, wishes
to examine the feasibility of improving the alley between Snelling Drive
and Arona Avenues just north of Larpenteur Avenue within the City of Falcon
Heights by resurfacing same or through other repairs deemed appropriate
by its engineer; and
WHEREAS, the City believes it will be helpful in determining whether to
order said improvements to receive a report from its City Engineer regarding
their desirability and feasibility as well as the preparation of plans and
specifications and the advertisement of bids thereon;
NOW, .THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council of the City of Falcon
Heights, Minnesota, authorizes its engineer, Robert Schunicht, to prepare a
• feasibility report, plans and specifications and an advertisement for bids
for the improvement of the alley between Snelling Drive and Arona Avenues
north of Larpenteur within the City of Falcon Heights.
