A RESOLUTION RELATING TO HOLDING THE ST. PAUL WATER UTILITY HARMLESS
FOR MAINTENANCE DUE TO FREEZING ON THE SOUTH 1,300 FEET OF TATUM
STREET WATERMAIN
WHEREAS, the water main on the south 1,300 feet of Tatum Street does not
meet the St. Paul Water Utility Standards regarding depth of cover over
the pipe, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has received a technical-recommendation
indicating that the water main on Tatum Street will function adequately,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council is anxious to complete .the Tatum-Street
Improvements without delays due to water main. construction,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council requests that the St.
Paul Water Utility contract be amended to indicate that the City of
Falcon Heights will be responsible for any maintenance associated with
freezing of water main. on the south 1,300 feet of Tatum Street.
