HomeMy WebLinkAboutCCRes_84-08CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on the 29th day of February, 1984. The following members were present: Mayor Eggert, Councilmembers Ciernia, Baldwin, Hard and Chestovich, and the following members were absent: None. Councilmember Ciernia introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 84-8 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING MUNICIPAL STATE AID HIGHWAYS WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, that the street hereinafter described should be designated a Municipal State Aid street under the provisions of Minnesota Laws of 1967, Chapter 162: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City of Falcon Heights that the roads described as follows, to-wit: MSA N0. STREET FROM TO 106 Hamline Avenue Hoyt Avenue Larpenteur Avenue be, and hereby is established, located and designated as Municipal State Aid streets of said City, subject to the approval of the Commissioner of Transportation of the State of Minnesota. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to forward two certified copies of this resolution to the Commissioner of Transportation for his consideration, and that upon his approval of the designation of said roads or portions thereof, that same be constructed, improved and maintained as Municipal State Aid streets of the City of Falcon Heights, to be numbered and known as Municipal State Aid streets as indicated above. The motion for the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mayor Eggert, and upon a vote being taken, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Eggert, Council- members Ciernia, Baldwin, Hard and Chestovich, and the following voted against the same: None.
