Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held on March
28, 1984.
The following members were present: Mayor Eggert, Councilmembers Baldwin,
Hard, Chestovich and Ciernia, and the following were absent: None.
Councilmember Chestovch introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption.
RESOLUTION 84-11
RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE WEEK OF APRIL 8 THROUGH
APRIL 14 AS LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS OF ROSEVILLE
WEEK
WHEREAS, members of the League of Women Voters of Roseville have
served the residents of Falcon Heights since 1953; and
WHEREAS, during these years members of the League of Women Voters
of Roseville have done much to encourage educated nonpartisan political
activity; and
WHEREAS, members of the League of Women Voters of Roseville have
given generously of their time and efforts as volunteers assisting in all
• phases of elections;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is proclaimed that the week of April 8 to April 14,
1984 be
LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS OF ROSEVILLE WEEK
and that sincere appreciation is expressed by the City of Falcon
Heights for all of the assistance and cooperation of the League of Women
Voters of Roseville.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Councilmember Hard and upon a vote being taken, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Eggert, Councilmembers Baldwin, Hard, Chestovich
and Ciernia, and the. following voted against the same: None.
