Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular Meeting of the City
Council of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on the 28th day of November,
1984.
The following members were present: Mayor Eggert, Councilmembers Baldwin,
Hard, Chestovich and Ciernia, and the following were absent: None.
Councilmember Ciernia introduced the following resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION 84-41
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE RATE OF ASSISTANCE
FOR SHADE TREE SANITATION OF PRIVATE PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, is delirious of
mim imizing Dutch Elm disease within the City of Falcon Heights, and
WHEREAS. the City will assist homeowners to rid the City of the
diseased trees by assuming a portion of the cost of removal.
• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of
Falcon Heights, Minnesota does hereby establish the rate of assistance
to private property owners at 50% of the cost of removal effective
January 1, 1985, not to exceed $50.00 per tree, limit to five (5) trees
per lot per calendar year.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Councilmember Baldwin and upon a vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Eggert, Councilmembers Baldwin,
Hard, Chestovich and Ciernia, and the following voted against the same:
None.
WHEREUPON, the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
