CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA
HELD: December 12, 1984
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights,
Famsey County, Minnesota, was duly held at 7:00 o'clock p.m.
The following members of the Council were present:
Mayor Eggert, Councilmembers Hard,
Baldwin, Ciernia and Chestovich
and the following were absent:
None.
Member Mayor Eggert introduced the following resolution
and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 84-44
A RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE
• CODIFICATION. OF THE CITY OF
FALCON HEIGHTS OP.DINANCES
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Section 415.021 authorizes
the City of Falcon Heights to revise and codify and print in
book, pamphlet or newspaper form any ordinances of the City;
and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Section 415.-021 provides
that such codification shall be a sufficient publication of
any ordinance included therein and not previously published in
a newspaper if a substantial quantity of the codification is
printed for general distribution to the public; and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Section 415.021 further
provides that a notice that copies of the codification are
available in the office of the Clerk-Administrator shall be
published for a least two successive weeks in the official
newspaper; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed advisable that the ordinances of
the City of Falcon Heights be revised and codified.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Falcon Heights that pursuant to the provisions of
Minnesota Statutes, Section 415.021, the codification of the
ordinances of the City of Falcon Heights entitled "Municipal
Code of Falcon Heights" dated December 12, 1984, a copy of
which has been presented to and examined by this City Council,
is hereby approved and adopted as the code of ordinances of the
City of Falcon Heights.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk-Administrator is
directed to mark at least one copy of the codification as the
official copy to be filed and maintained at all times in the
office of the Clerk-Administrator for use and examination by
the public.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk-Administrator is
directed to cause a substantial quantity of the codification
to be printed and placed in the office of the Clerk-Administrator
for general distribution and sale to the public and to cause
notice, in substantially the form attached hereto as Exhibit A,
that copies of the codification are available for public
examination and purchase in the office of the Clerk-Administrator
to be published in the official newspaper once each week for two
consecutive weeks.
• BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Municipal Code of Falcon
Heights shall be in force and effect from and after publication
of such notice.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution
was duly seconded by member Ciernia and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Mayor Eggert, Councilmembers Hard, Baldwin,
Chestovich and Ciernia
and the following voted against the same;

Trlhereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and
adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting
Clerk-Administrator of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota,
DO HEREBY CERTIFY that I have compared the attached and foregoing
extract of minutes with the original thereof on file in my office,
and that the same isa full, true and complete transcript of the
minutes of a meeting of the City Council of said City, duly
called and held on the date therein indicated, insofar as such
minutes relate to the formation of a development district in
the City.
