Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the
City Council of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on the 13th day of January,
1982.
The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers
Eggert, Larson, Ciernia and Chestovich, and the following were absent: None.

Mayor Warkentien introduced the following resolution and moved its
RESOLUTION 82-7
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING AN APPROVED APPRAISAL OF
VALUE FOR PURPOSES OF THE ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN
PROPERTY BY CONDEMNATION
WHEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights has heretofore directed the
City Attorney to initiate eminent domain proceedings to acquire the follow-
ing described property for the construction of a new city hall:
The South 462 feet of the 21 acres East
of-the West 44 acres of the West half of
the Southwest quarter of Section l6, Town-
ship 29, Range 23, Ramsey County, Minnesota,
except the East 123 feet of the South 268
feet thereof;
WHEREAS, in connection with the condemnation proceedings Thomas
J. Delaney was employed on behalf of the City to submit an appraisal of the
estimated market value of the above described property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has received a copy of the appraisal
submitted by Mr. Delaney and has reviewed the contents thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Falcon Heights that the City hereby adopts as the approved appraisal of value
for the taking in fee of the above described property the sum of $230,000.00.
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Larson
and upon a vote being taken the following voted in favor thereofc Mayor
Warkentien, Councilmembers Eggert, Larson, Ciernia and Chestovich, and the
following voted against the same: None.
WHEREUPON, the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
