Mayor Warkentien introduced the following resolution and moved-its adoption:
RESOLUTION 82-23
A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE 1982 SEALCOATING - ALL
STREETS IN THE NORTHEAST QUADRANT OF THE CITY
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Falcon Heights had advertised for
bids to sealcoat streets in the northeast quadrant of the City and,
WHEREAS, the following bids were presented at bid opening at 2:00 p.m.
June 2, 1982:
Allied Blacktop Co.
Bituminous Roadways
Black Top Service Co.
$47,553.00
$42,432.50
$37,781.90
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Falcon
Heights that the bid be awarded to Black Top Service Co., 1200 W. Highway 13,
Burnsville, Minnesota to sealcoat all streets in the northeast quadrant in an
amount not to exceed $3'7,781.90.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by Councilmember Eggert and upon a vote being taken the following voted in
favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Eggert, Larson, Ciernia and
Chestovich, and the following voted against the same: None.
WHEREUPON, the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted this
9th day of June, 1982.
