Pursuant to due call .and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City
Council of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on the 23rd day of June, 1982.
The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers
Eggert, Larson, Ciernia and Chestovich, and the following were absent: None.

Mayor Warkentien introduced the following resolution and moved its
RESOLUTION 82-28
A RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING FOR
PUBLIC HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 82-27 of the Council adopted June 23,
1982, a report has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates,
Inc., consultant engineers, with reference to a storm sewer improvement in the
streets and avenues of Gortner, Larpenteur, Prior, Tatum and Lindig, and this.
report entitled "Fairview-Larpenteur Storm Drainage Plan for 1982" was re-
ceived by the Council on July 6, 1982;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Falcon Heights:
1. The Council will consider the storm drainage improvements in
accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting and non-abutting
property for all or a portion of the costs of the improvement pursuant to
. Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, or the levying of a storm sewer improvement
tax pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 444, or both. The estimated cost
of the improvement is $825,000.00.
2. A public hearing shall be held on the proposed improvement on
August 4, 1982 in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 7:30 p.m, and the
Clerk Administrator shall give mailed and published notices of such hearing
and improvements as required by law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Councilmember Larson and upon a vote being taken-the following
voted in favor thereofc Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Eggert, Larson,
Ciernia and Chestovich, and the following voted against the same: None.
WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
