HomeMy WebLinkAboutCCRes_82-34CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was duly called and held at the City Hall on the 25th day of August, 1982. • The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Ciernia, Chestovich and Larson, and the following were absent: Councilmember Eggert. adoption: Mayor Warkentien introduced the following resolution and moved its RESOLUTION 82-34 A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT RELATING TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON ALBERT STREET FROM LARPENTEUR AVENUE TO HOYT AVENUE (M.S.A.P 124-102-01), FALCON HEIGHTS THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 25th day of August, 1982, by and between the city of Falcon Heights, in Ramsey County, Minnesota, and the Commissioner of Transportation, State of Minnesota. The Municipal corporation shall hereinafter be called the "City",.and the Commissioner of Transportation of the State of Minnesota, hereinafter shall be referred to as the "Commissioner", WITNESSETH: WHEREAS, the "City" has planned the improvement of Albert Street from Larpenteur Avenue to Hoyt Avenue, and WHEREAS, the "City" will be expending Municipal State Aid funds on the improvement of said street, and WHEREAS, said existing street does not conform to the approved minimum standards as previously adopted for such Municipal State Aid streets and that approval of the proposed construction as a Municipal State Aid Street project must therefore be conditioned upon certain parking restrictions, and WHEREAS, the extent of these restrictions that would be a necessary prerequisite to the approval of this construction as a Municipal State Aid project in the "City" has been determined; as follows: NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY AGREED by and between the parties hereto That the "City" shall restrict parking of motor vehicles on both sides of Albert Street from Larpenteur Avenue to Hoyt Avenue, at all times, unless hereafter authorized in writing by the Commissioner. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Larson, and upon a vote being taken the following voted in favor thereoft Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Ciernia, Chestovich and Larson, and the following voted against the same: None.
