HomeMy WebLinkAboutCCRes_82-37CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on the 8th day of September, 1982. The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Chestovich, Ciernia, Larson and Eggert, and the following were absent: None. Mayor Warkentien introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 82-37 A RESOLUTION AWARDING ASHBACH CONSTRUCTION COMPANY THE IMPROVEMENT CONTRACT FOR ALBERT STREET (DESIGNATED MSA) AND PASCAL STREET IN THE AMOUNT OF $181,403.75 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights held a public hearing to consider the improvements of Pascal Street-and Albert Street, designated Minnesota State Aid, and WHEREAS, the Council ordered the improvement and called for bids, and WHEREAS, the lowest responsibile bidder was Ashbach Construction Company, 431 E. Kellogg Boulevard, St. Paul, Minnesota, in the amount of $18],(+03.75. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of-the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, hereby awards the contract to Ashbach Construction Company, in the amount of $181,403.75 which includes Pascal Street and Albert Street (an MSA Improvement) contingent upon MSA approval on Albert Street. The motion for the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Eggert and upon a vote being taken the following voted in favor thereofs Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Chestovich, Ciernia, Larson, and Eggert, and the following voted against the same: None.
