CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular Meeting of the
City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on the 22nd
. day of September, 198.2.
The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Council-
members Chestovich, Eggert and Larson, and the following were absent: Council-
member Ciernia.
Mayor Warkentien introduced the following resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION 82-42
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION AND DELIVERY
OF WARRANTY DEED
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City. of Falcon Heights has heretofore
approved the sale of the City Hall property known generally as 1644 West Larpenteur
Avenue in the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota to the Farmers Union Grain Terminal
Association pursuant to the terms of a Purchase Agreement dated May 13, 1982; and
WHEREAS, the conditions precedent to closing as contained in said
Purchase Agreement have been completed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Falcon Heights that the form of Warranty Deed between the City of Falcon Heights
as Grantor and Farmers Union-Grain Terminal Association as Grantee, a copy of
which is attached hereto as Exhibit A, conveying the. property known as 1644
,• West Larpenteur Avenue, Falcon Heights, Minnesota, which property is legally
described in said Warranty Deed, is hereby approved and the Mayor-and Clerk
Administrator are authorized-and directed to execute said deed on behalf of the
City of Falcon Heights and deliver the the same upon payment of the balance of
the purchase price in accordance with the terms of the aforesaid Purchase Agree-
went.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Councilmember Eggert and upon a vote being taken the following
voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Chestovich, Eggert
and Larson, and the following voted against the same: None.
WHEREUPON, the resolution was delcared duly passed and adopted.
