Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the City Council
• of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on the 27th day of October,
1982.
The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers
Chestovich, Larson, Ciernia and Eggert and the following were absent: None.
Councilmember Larson introduced the following resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION N0. 82-48
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE RAMSEY COUNTY ENGINEERING
DEPARTMENT TO PERMIT FLOWER CITY LIMITED USE ALONG THE
SOUTH SIDE OF THEIR PROPERTY ADJACENT TO LARFENTEUR
AVENUE
WHEREAS, Marvin Stillman owner of a parcel of land lying northeast of
the intersection of Snelling Avenue and Larpenteur Avenue, and
WHEREAS, Marvin Stillman is contemplating construction of a building for
retail business after the total loss of a portion of his retail business by
fire, and
WHEREAS, to utilize his property effectively the City Council granted
certain variances to Marvin Stillman,
i WHEREAS, the City Council requires that Mr. Stillman provide adequate
parking spaces, and
WHEREAS, the City Council passed a resolution requesting the Ramsey
County Engineering Department to p limited use of said right-of-way
south of their property adjacent to Larpenteur Avenue,
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by Councilmember Ciernia and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Chestovich, Larson,
Ciernia, and Eggert, and the following voted against the same: None.
WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
