Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of-the City
Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held on the 5th day of
January, 1983.
The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers
Larson, Ciernia, Chestovich. and Eggert and the following were absent:
None;
Councilmember Larson introduced the following resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION 83-1
A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE OFFICIAL DEPOSITORY
FOR THE GENERAL AND SINKING FUNDS OF THE CITY OF
FALCON HEIGHTS
WHEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights does not have a bank within its
boundaries, and in the past has designated North Star State-Bank, Roseville,
as its depository for the funds of tfie City of Falcon Heights,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Falcon Heights: That the North Star State Bank of Roseville be designated
as depository for the funds of the-City of Falcon Heights, and the City
Treasurer is authorized to deposit general and other funds therein.
• BE TT FURTHER RESOLVED, that collateral shall be furnished by the North
Star State Bank as required by law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by Councilmember Chestovich and upon a vote being taken thereon, the follow-
ing voted in favor thereofc Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Larson, Ciernia,
Chestovich and Eggert and the following voted against the same: None.
WHEREUPON, the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
